I've had Larder for brunch a couple times but finally had it for dinner and wow. The server was great even though the kitchen was backed up. We ate outside since it wasn't too hot. Definitely recommend swinging by for brunch or dinner any time.

The Hammond's Ferry Larder located in North Augusta, SC Food: We ordered the Fish (cod) and Chips and Ribeye Melt and washed it all down with a Mango Mule. The Fish and Chips was good, the house tartar sauce was good also. The Ribeye Melt was tender and flavorful... really good bread. Full transparency, the Portobello Mushroom appetizer left me with buyers remorse. I really loved my experience however it's a little pricey... for food that you could get anywhere else. Service: Great service! We were greeted by the host outside and seated. The staff were very polite and friendly. Ambiance: This is lovely small Tapas with limited table seating inside however outside seating is available. A full bar makes me smile.

We were able to be seated immediately, which in the past has been rare here. Our server was good and brought things we needed. I do wish she would've come over to refill water once. Food was nice and hot. I do wish the chicken was a bit crunchier. They were out of fried pickles so we couldn't have those, but the pickle vodka for the Bloody Mary was pretty good. I would've liked my coffee to be iced. Perhaps the menu should specify if it can be made hot or iced. Small, cute place. A bit of outdoor seating which is good.

The ambiance at this restaurant is one of the main reasons to go. You get a local feel with delicious food, and no rush to leave. My server Melissa was knowledgeable, made her recommendations, efficient and sweet! I would definitely come back to this establishment.

Stumbled upon this place while walking through Hammond's ferry one day but had to come back when we had time to eat and I am so glad we did. Such a nice little place nestled in a small community with unique menu items and a great atmosphere. There is option to eat in or outside, and if you have kids there is a playground which is perfect to entertain the little ones while you enjoy your drinks and wait for your food. The pulled pork Benedict was fantastic and so large it was extremely filling that I had to nap afterwards. The French toast my wife had was delicious and full of favor compared to French toast at other breakfast places. Everything tasted fresh and proportional to the price you pay so it was worth every penny. The menu was large enough for options for a variety of food types depending on what you are craving, but small enough that you aren't overwhelmed with option overload. Everything looked delicious and it was hard to make a decision so I will have e to come back to try out other options. Their specials are unique and limited so there's something fresh and new each visit. The service was great and felt family friendly for a variety of dining out occasions.

Fun, small, intimate. Not a ton of seating, but we sat outside, which was preferred, and it was nice. There is a playground right outside, which would be nice if we bring kids. The area feels like a small Charleston. The food, oh man, it was delicious! The grits were a great savory choice, it needs a little more flavor, just salt and pepper. The chicken biscuits was spot on, the chicken had a few tough parts. The seasoned home fries were great! The flavor had a little kick and had red pepper and onions. The breakfast burger was good, the bun was large and dense and it needed more bacon jam and cheese; overall good but needs tweaking.
